Sweden’s SKF opens production plant in Western Bohemia

SFK opened a new plant for the production of lubrication systems in the second half of November in Chodov near Karlovy Vary. The enterprise, which SKF acquired in 2010 through the acquisition of Lincoln Industrial and subsequently expanded, should become one of the key factories for the production of this Swedish company’s lubrication systems. “We see a huge potential for growth in the future in the area of automated lubrication systems. These systems, such as the series of Quicklub products manufactured in Chodov, consume up to 30% less lubrication compared to manual systems and the new workplace ensures that we will continue to be able to fulfil our customers’ needs,” stated Tom Johnstone, the President and General Director of SKF.
